“The shortest foot race in Kentucky” returns on Thursday, May 2 in downtown Somerset! Each year members of the community come together to make the 350-yard “dash” from the crosswalk near Citizens National Bank on E. Mt. Vernon St. to the Farmer’s Market at CNB Pavillion to enjoy their reward of a delicious banana split! The race is more focused on fun and fellowship than on competition and persons of all abilities are encouraged to participate! Walk, run, or stroll with family and friends to support impact in your community!
This year the race will take place on Thursday, May 2 with registration beginning under the flag poles of the Pulaski County Judicial Center Plaza at 4:30 p.m. and the race beginning at 5:30 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for 1st and last place, as well as best costume and largest team.
