
Committees
You can be more involved with our impact by serving on one of our committees! Committees are chaired by current Directors on our Board and meet periodically throughout the year. This is also a great way to work toward service on the Board of Directors in future years. If you are interested in serving on any of these, please fill out the form below the descriptions.
Finance Committee – actively participates in budget planning; reviews financials of the organization; coordinates with staff and CPA as needed
Community Impact Committee – The Community Impact Committee shall review allocation requests, budgets, and audit reports of the various agencies certified by the corporation. This committee shall make recommendations to the full Board of Directors concerning their findings and recommendations. This committee shall also review all new agency applications and make recommendations to the Board of Directors.
Campaign/Public Relations Committee – The Campaign/Public Relations Committee shall be chaired by the Campaign Chair. This committee shall be responsible for all phases of organization and operation of the Campaign Drive and shall be responsible for keeping the public informed of the activities of the corporation, through the use of social and news media, primarily during the Campaign Drive.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee – no formal description, but would help to oversee meeting the United Way Worldwide expectations and drive DEI work in our organization
